The Austin A40 Sports made it debut on the 1950 Earls Court motor show. It was desigbed by Jensen chief designer Eric Neale on the basis of the successful Austin A40 Devon saloon and one of the first post-war British designs following the new continental lines.

This page will try to gather historic and current information on the Austin A40 Sports and also tries to serve as a register to gather information on surviving cars.
